Director’s showreel • Lusco Fusco
Lusco Fusco is a Spanish directing duo consisting of Galician Toño Chouza and Catalan Ignacio Rodó. They’ve worked for renown brands such as Adidas, eBay, Nestle, Desigual and Canary Islands Tourism; and for agencies such as Sra. Rushmore, McCANN, J. Walter Thompson, BBDO, Shackleton, &Rosàs, GroupM, DoubleYou and Larsson-Duprez.
Luscofusco is a term of Galician-Portuguese origin that means twilight: that instant of dawn or dusk where day and night meet to create a magical moment.
Lusco Fusco is a bet for duality: light and darkness, esthetics and storytelling, sensitivity and technique, cinema and advertising, demanding and compromising, sense of humor and responsibility.
Toño Chouza is a villager from Cabo de Cruz. Being Galician and allergic to shellfish is the least of his contradictions. He’s directed commercials, fiction, documentaries, fashion and music videos, and his work has been awarded internationally.
Ignacio Rodó is an urbanite that always wanted to be a troubadour. Unfortunately, he was born too late for that, so he had to resign himself to being a filmmaker instead. His fiction work has been awarded more than 100 times, whereas he has more than 7 years of experience in the advertising world, both as a producer and as a director.
